Vodafone UK has launched its new branded phone, Vodafone 155, that targets seniors and impaired people and is available on pay as you go SIM card plans -senior market. This phone is what most people would call pure simplicity: it features large keypad, large simple display and almost no additional functionality. It is a phone for somebody who wants to use it only for calling or texting. But Vodafone 155 is also packed with features that cater for the needs of impaired and elder people. For example, on the back of the phone there is a SOS button, which after holding for a few seconds will automatically send ‘help’ text messages and then call predefined numbers. The phone is suitable for people with hearing aids as it has noise cancellation technology and high volume ringtones. The battery life is amazing too. Vodafone 155 has standby time of 29 days (when fully charged) and maximum of 600 minutes talk time. Vodafone UK offers the phone for 25 pounds in their PAYG SIM card deal.
